I tried in vain to contact my former Biology student. I was forced to leave Mauritius in 1975 because of widespread corruption, especially at State level, and after US-Apartheid Israel had bombed Beirut destroying all my immigration files at the Canadian Embassy. My Eurasian wife and I had been granted permission to settle in Canada. So, I left for France instead!
